So we turned the image generation of people off and will work to improve it significantly before turning it back on. This process will include extensive testing\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;It has &nbsp;admitted that its Gemini AI image generator has missed the mark while generating historically appropriate images &nbsp;and responded with its temporary suspension and planning to launch an improved version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are working to improve there kinds of depictions immediately\u201d, says Jack Krawczyk, a senior director of project management at Googles Gemini experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"648\" height=\"433\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.uzraihub.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/google-gemini-woke.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-67\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The issue came to light as many users shared their results where this renowned image generator re imaged famous historical individuals with diverse casts. This prompted sparks of criticism accusing google of intentionally programming bias against white people .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Google\u2019s Gemini AI model was launched two months ago as a rival of Chat Gpt. Like most&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/best-ai-chatbot\/\">AI chatbots<\/a>,&nbsp;Gemini can&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/i-tested-google-bards-new-coding-skills-it-didnt-go-well\/\">code<\/a>, answer math problems, and help with your writing needs.&nbsp;Google is working hard to make its AI better because it has tough competition, especially from OpenAI, which launched ChatGPT in 2022.
